Growth happens in everyday moments: organizing a project, listening to a different perspective, speaking in front of a group, or helping a new member feel at home.
Leadership
Preside at a meeting, lead a charitable project, chair a committee, or serve as Secretary or Treasurer. Practice decision-making, organization, accountability, and communication in a supportive setting.
Mentorship
Learn from members who have walked the path before you. As your confidence grows, share your experience and help someone else find their footing.
New connections
Exchange ideas and build relationships in your chapter, your community, and the wider Eastern Star and Masonic Family.
Teamwork
Work toward a shared goal while practicing active listening, responsibility, empathy, and thoughtful problem-solving.
Public speaking
Find opportunities to speak, present, and participate in ceremonies. Memorization is encouraged, but not required, and can help build confidence over time.
